Comeau’s Sea Foods Group is seeking a Food Production Manager to oversee our production facilities and drive excellence across our teams. If you're a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality, safety, and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

Supervise Plant Managers and oversee daily production operations.

Develop and manage production schedules aligned with strategic goals.

Ensure compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and workplace safety standards.

Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement.

Lead cross-functional coordination and enhance workflow efficiency.

Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering leadership and operational excellence.

Manage staffing levels, crew rotations, and cross-training initiatives.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align production strategies with corporate objectives.

Monitor production metrics and ensure accurate documentation.

Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and employee engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in food production, managing teams of 10+ employees.

Strong knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, and workplace safety standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in production planning and digital tracking tools.

Experience in staff training, performance management, and team development.

High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods.

Willingness to work in food production areas requiring PPE and hygiene compliance.
