What You'll Do:
✔Precision Machining: Operate mills, lathes, and other equipment to create custom mechanical parts.
✔Blueprint Analysis: Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining operations.
✔Component Fabrication & Repair: Restore and fabricate custom parts that meet operational needs.
✔Team Collaboration: Work closely with a supportive team to maintain operational excellence.
✔Maintain Safety Standards: Actively promote and comply with company safety protocols and encourage safety awareness.
What We're Looking For:
✔Journeyman Machinist Certification (Red Seal preferred) or equivalent experience.
✔Strong skills in blueprint reading, layout, and manual machining.
✔ Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
✔Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate in a cold environment.
Physical Requirements:
✔Able to work in cold environments and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
✔Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
✔Able to climb, crouch, and work.
