What You Will Do:

As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our production line running smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and repairing Arenco Herring Filleting Machines to ensure peak performance.

Training machine operators on safe and effective machine use.

Troubleshooting mechanical issues and minimizing downtime.

Collaborating with maintenance and production teams on various projects.

Upholding strict safety standards and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Staying on-site until production tasks are completed to ensure operational continuity.

  

 

What We're Looking For:

Experience in machine maintenance, preferably in food processing or manufacturing.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Arenco herring filleting machines (a strong asset).

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

A high school diploma (post-secondary technical training is an asset).


Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods.

Comfortable lifting and moving equipment or parts up to 50 lbs.

Capable of performing repetitive tasks in a production-oriented environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours until production is complete.
