What You Will Do:

As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our production line running smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

✔ Maintaining and repairing Arenco Herring Filleting Machines to ensure peak performance.

✔ Training machine operators on safe and effective machine use.

✔ Troubleshooting mechanical issues and minimizing downtime.

✔ Collaborating with maintenance and production teams on various projects.

✔ Upholding strict safety standards and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

✔ Staying on-site until production tasks are completed to ensure operational continuity.

What We're Looking For:

✔ Experience in machine maintenance, preferably in food processing or manufacturing.

✔ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

✔ Familiarity with Arenco herring filleting machines (a strong asset).

✔ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

✔ A high school diploma (post-secondary technical training is an asset).

Physical Requirements:

✔ Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods.

✔ Comfortable lifting and moving equipment or parts up to 50 lbs.

✔ Capable of performing repetitive tasks in a production-oriented environment.

✔ Willingness to work flexible hours until production is complete.
