Join Our Team as a Hydraulic Mechanic at Skipper Fisheries Ltd.

Are you an experienced Hydraulic Mechanic looking to take your skills to the next level? Skipper is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be integral in repairing and servicing pumps, valves, motors, cylinders and winches as well as fabricating and installing hydraulic hoses and tubing. What You'll Do:

✔Repair/Service pumps, valves, motors, cylinders and winches

✔Fabricate and install hydraulic hoses and tubing

✔Field service on fishing vessels

✔Team Collaboration: Work closely with a supportive team to maintain operational excellence.

✔Maintain Safety Standards: Actively promote and comply with company safety protocols and encourage safety awareness.

What We're Looking For:

✔Experience working as a hydraulic mechanic, mechanic, or in a welding/fabricating shop

✔Experience in welding, machining, and fabricating is considered an asset

✔Experience reading and understanding schematics

✔ Ability to multitask and problem-solve

✔Able to be flexible and work off-shift hours as required.

✔Valid driver’s license and clean abstract

Physical Requirements:

✔Able to work in cold environments and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

✔Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Able to climb, crouch, and work.
